This skein turned out completely and totally different than what I sat down to spin. I was planning on doing a simple, fingering weight yarn in spring shades, but after plying my singles it was, just, well blah. The yarn equivalent of plain yogurt at room temperature.

My attitude might have had something to do with it – the last month has been exhausting with a couple of non-fiber projects, and, oh, a toddler who simply does not sleep. You may think I’m exaggerating, and that’s fine, you’re entitled to your thoughts.

BTW - don’t forget to send me your address so Munchkin can have that overnight playdate.

I need something different. something fun. But nothing mentally or physically taxing because I was so tired last weekend I was having a rough time cracking eggs, So I n-plied the yarn after I double plied the singles. And added some beads that may or may not have been picked up off the floor back when I was working in a costume shop that made costumes for a high profile show about big cats. And, well, it turned into something that may not be my favorite thing ever, but it certainly is interesting.
