The obligatory bio – I once had a professional life, but even moderately good daycare is so fucking expensive that even a basic spreadsheet told us that we’d actually save money if I became a sahm mom to our two demon spawn (Captain Obvious and Space Cadet).  While this transition has greatly benefitted our family, it’s also very isolating; especially since we moved from the diverse Detroit burbs to a very conservative northern MI city in the summer of 2016. Hence, the resurgence of the blog.

Spinning, Knitting, Sewing, Weaving, Crocheting, Felting, Dyeing – it all interests me. After 35yrs sewing (yes, I started young. And yes, I am getting old) I figured it was about time to get organized – this website is first and foremost a way for me to keep track of my projects and hopefully helps to inspire or educate you.
